Class Effort

I am not giving this class my best effort.  I always do try to the best of my ability in all of my classes.  I can start to think more critically and not state some of the obvious.

The risks in cyberspace are making yourself available to any one, all of your personal information, you are also risking your safety, reputation, and eligibility of getting a job.  You can avoid this by not putting your life, and personal thoughts on facebook etc. You should always protect yourself from predators etc

Act Right

If I walked into the computer classroom, sat down at my computer and noticed that the computer was left on someones account, photographs and classwork is open the right thing to do is to notify my teacher, Mr. Viereck, log out for them without browsing through all of there personal stuff. I would do exactly whats right I would never go through their stuff because if anything would have happened to their account after they left and i use the computer after them it would have all pointed to me. And we just learned that cyberbullying is a no no so why even go there, so we should do what's right and that final.

Internet saftey

If my boy/girl friend through Facebook is exactly my age, likes the same thing i do and after weeks of chatting he wants to meet me i would stall a lot and see the reaction displayed.  Tell my parent/ guardian how we meet, and everything we talked about.

Cyber Safety

We should engage in the highly collaborative and interactive web 2 .0 in a safe and responsible manner because not knowing who you are talking to can lead to something horrible, drastic, and unbelievable.  If you meet some one online and that person says things to make you feel good and feel as though you are the only one he/she wants to be with by asking sexual questions and/or gestures than 9 times out of  10 that person is not who you think they are so be careful and stop the problem before it escalates.

Good Manners

It is important to have good manners online because anything can happen on the internet.  If someone says something negative it would automatically be believed because somebody said it and it was on the internet.  People have problems with not believing everything that is on or posted on the internet.  Things you say can mess up someone's life, it can stick where ever they go.  It can jeopardize getting a job, and even their pursuit of happiness.   If worst comes to matters, it can lead to life or death situations.

cyberbullying

I remember when I got bullied in the 6th grade.  I was a quite girl who stayed to herself, and only talked to a little bit of people once in a while.  So, the other girls didn't really like me they called me phony, and all types of malicious names. Although I've never been physically bullied I've been emotionally and mentally bullied.  The kids growing up did not understand that words do hurt and could drive somebody crazy.  For example, my sister was cyberbullied last year the kids had took her picture off of facebook, printed it out with malicious words.  My sister was destroyed she cried so much and hurt so much. It was a point in time when she was just going to give up.

Although bullying isn't easy to deal with there are ways to help prevent and stop it. The best ways to do that is to collectively show bullies that they have no power over the people they try and torment. Lets say that in a school there's about 10 bullies and 200 other students, and a full staff. If those 200 students stand their ground, and those staff members take the appropriate steps to punish bullies, then eventually the "threats" that bullies have over people will die out. Also it's the job of all parents to make sure that their kids aren't bullying people or being bullied. A lot of bullies learn to be violent or talk badly of others after seeing it from their parents. In my community a lot of the African American parents curse in front of their kids. They also fight in front of them and argue with other people. Growing up in an environment like that only continues the cycle.

After all it is up to the community as a whole to end bullying. In our modern age bullying has become so serious that it's considered a crime.  If people would stop worrying about outer beauty, money, and popularity then we wouldn't have to worry about who's better than who. At the end of the day we're all people. For this law may reduce bullying at an outstanding rate. There is multiple things teachers and schools can do like announce that it is unacceptable and that if any one needs help or needs to talk can step forward and there would be full confidentiality.  Then if that student is brave enough to step forward and speak on their own behalf.  I see the problem stopping eventually. Maybe the school can also create a "Bully Class," which would give examples of bullying and some solutions.  Society is so indenial they wouldn't know bullying if it stared them in the face.  Our society is so messed up that they think that bullying is right and it isn't bullying is just playing around or hiking. This problem is getting better,  because now bullying awareness is on the news and in schools. There is an improvement because it is bullying has been noted as tolerated.

Anti-Bullying

The Anti-bullying Bill of Rights becoming a law is an appropriate action and it is indeed
necessary but it may not be 100% effective.  It was necessary because people need to know that cyberbullying will not be tolerated. People need to know all the psychological and mental things that can do to a person and their heads.  Cyberbullying can cause suicide and depression.  It may not be 100% effective because regardless of the law many will still do it if they realize it or not.

Modern Technology

Teenagers and young children are both equally able to get in to trouble.  They both are equally able to get in trouble because in this 21st century that we live in young children act as if they are teenagers and they do the same things.  There are actually young kids out there smoking and having all the qualities that teens have.
